RatsAlley is a community. RatsAlley is a collective. RatsAlley is a business. RatsAlley is an idea.

The idea that we can make any vision come into reality by throwing all excuses out the window. We create by any means necessary. It won’t always look spotless, but it’ll be full of passion, heart, and 100% authenticity.

We are in between the walls, underground, creating our home in between the cracks of society. You rarely see us, but we are there. Creating. Working. Gathering. Doing it ourselves. Because we love it.

RatsAlley is self-funded by grants, normal jobs, our loyal clients and a growing Patreon community, making it a true grassroots collective rising as a distinct voice in the Chicago’s creative underground. Through collaborations with artist like Mike DFG, RatsAlley has received local recognition from platforms like Official VSN and From Chicago to the World. In 2024, RatsAlley won the Official VSN Music Award for Best Music Video with Mike DFG’s “On Fonem.”

“RatsAlley isn’t just about one art form or another—we do it all,” said Suimo. “We are utilizing our generation’s multidisciplinary nature and inventing new processes and experiences to bring our audience to uncharted territory.”
